Joan Chittister Discussed in New Book

"[Joan's] face is almost exactly as I would have imagined, the strong noble face of a rhetorician..."



This letter is one of many published in the new book, Dearest Sister Wendy: A Surprising Story of Faith and Friendship, recently published by Orbis. The book explores the correspondence between Ellsberg and Sister Wendy on a wide range of subjects, including Sister Joan's ministry, writings, and controversies.
