“Praying for Convergence” article cites Joan Chittister

An article which appeared in Herald Malaysia cited Joan Chittister’s speaking tour of Australia—and the crowds of hundreds that came to hear her—as an example of a “parallel Church” that the author claims in flourishing, even as the institutional Church “loses ground.” Tracey Edstein, the writer of the piece, claimed, “As people seek to engage with their beliefs and live their lives of faith more deeply, many have come to embrace a spirituality which, framed by authentic Catholic tradition, encompasses an expanded array of practices and literatures.” Click here to read the full piece.
