Presence at Hands Off Protest

Joan Chittister was in the front of the "Hands Off!" rally in Erie, PA, this past weekend, where about a thousand people joined with millions across the country, protesting massive cuts of federal funding to Social Security, Medicare, the Department of Education, National Parks, libraries, and other critical parts of civic life. "I've never seen Erie so energized," Sister Joan remarked.
